Designer & Studio Manager, I'm native Danish and came to England in late 1999 to spend time with my family. I've been designing kitchens for over 10 years now, and spent the previous 3 years running the day-to-day business in a bespoke kitchen studio as showroom manager, before teaming up with The Surrey Kitchen Company in 2012.
I'm very design-oriented with an keen eye on new kitchen trends and design features. My speciality is Computer Aided Design (CAD), creating innovative, new and exciting designs for public clients as well as developers and architects from all parts of the country.
I spent many years in the big corporate world, managing projects both in the UK and abroad. I got involved with bespoke kitchen design and client management some 7 years ago, bringing my customer skills to bear in the very different retail environment. My intent is to listen to client requirements, to deliver designs that meet them, then to ensure the agreed design is manufactured and installed in a trouble-free manner.
I enjoy many sports as a spectator now, with clear preferences for football, cricket, rugby and tennis, and occasionally Formula 1 and NHRA drag-racing.
For over 20 years I have worked in the building product sector, involved in both commercial specification and distribution of numerous major brands. More recently I have managed the fabrication subsidiary of Silestone, the leading Quartz work surface material, which lead to my recent buyout of the business from Cosentino, the Spanish owners.
Living with my family in Guildford, Surrey I enjoy many sports although sadly now only as a spectator.
